Pakistan Super League is professional T20 cricket league of Pakistan. It is created by Pakistan cricket board. PCB takes the initiative to start leagues like IPL, BPL, and Big Bash league. These leagues give many benefits to Pakistan cricket. Pakistan super league has extracted many talented players from this league. This league is newborn, but it is emerging league of Pakistan and has made a prominent name in all over the world. The first event of this league was played in 2016. Teams fought hard to win the trophy of final. Islamabad United has won the first title in this league.

This league was founded in Lahore on 8 September 2015. Pakistan Super League consists of 6 teams. All teams have a right combination of batsman and bowlers. There are many international players participate in this league every year. Pakistan Super League is telecasted every year on Pakistan national sports television named PTV Sports.  There are many other international channels which are involved to live cast this league every year like Ten Sports, Geo Super, Channel 44, Gazi TV, Sports net, Willow TV and many broadcasters are part of this league. This has established a brand name on an international level. Players are moving from other leagues to play PSL.

Quetta Gladiators is part of Pakistan Super League. Quetta team has the best combination of players, but unfortunately, don’t have the title of this league. There are many chances of winning the title in future of Quetta Gladiators. The franchise owners are Omer Associates. The team home ground is Ayub National Stadium. The captain of team Quetta is Sarfraz Ahmed, and he is also Captain of Pakistan team. The team coach is Moin Khan Pakistan former test or One day player. The famous international players, Kevin Petersen and Kumar Sangakkara are part of Quetta Gladiators. Pakistan Super League was started 9 February and ended 5 March 2017. This was the second edition of this league. Its all matches were played in UAE except Finals. Final of this league was played in Lahore.  All international players came here to promote cricket in Pakistan. All international players were gone satisfied with security reasons. Pakistan cricket board will try to schedule more matches on Pakistan grounds. This league title won by Peshawar Zalmi is a team from Peshawar region.
