One day cricket is limited over match which is based on 50 overs match. 1 Over consist of 6 balls. One bowler is restricted to bowl 10 overs in a match. In One day match is challenged by two teams. Both teams consist of 11 players. The match starts with the toss. The team who won toss it is necessary to take the decision to do bat first or bowl first in the match. The team who bats first tries to set the maximum score on board to build pressure on another team. Bowling side tries to restrict the team to minimum score that will be easy to chase for them. Both teams fight to win match battle. Every match is important for the team because winning of the match it will improve the ranking of the team.

Every team or individual requires ranking to become on top. Cricket ranking is also important to become world’s best team. Every team struggles to become on top. Teams played matches with the consent of ICC. The team who won the match.ICC increases the ranking of winning team. There are different categories of ranking in cricket. It includes batsman ranking, bowler ranking, all-rounder ranking, and wicketkeeper ranking. If batsman scores more run than another batsman it will be on top. If a bowler takes more wickets overall it will be on top. If wicketkeeper has more catches or out in matches overall it will become best wicket keeper. ICC first sees the performances of players for a specific period and then show rankings based on their performances.
